Solebox x Rimowa x Pro Keds
As of late, we have seen a number of upcoming releases from Pro Keds such as the Patta x Pro-Keds Royal Hi & Royal Lo, the Royal Low Navy Blue Canvas and the 69ers Uptowner Lo “NY Mets”. In addition, Pro Keds has hooked up with Solebox and luggage brand Rimowa to create this special edition sneaker. Sticking with a traditional, recognizable color scheme, this particular sneaker owns a predominately black base with contrasting red accents in the form of the toe cap, tongue logo, shoelaces and heel tab. The latter area also contains the Solebox logo. However, one of the more interesting features is how this shoe will come packaged. Since luggage brand Rimowa is involved in the collaboration, the three sides came up with the idea to release the sneaker in a suitcase. Converse Chuck Taylor “Sweatshirt” Converse has been nothing less than experimental and erratic with its designs on the infamous Chuck Taylor model this year. Recently, we have spotted rock band inspirations, Chucks with zippers and all-over quilted bases. In addition, Converse has just unleashed the Chuck Taylor “Sweatshirt”. Obviously, pertaining to its nickname, this Converse Chuck Taylor possesses a 100% grey cotton sweatshirt texture throughout the base. As contrasting color features, this shoe contains white shoelaces, a white toe cap and a white rubber sole. The latter area also owns a red strip just below the base and a black strip towards the bottom of the shoe. Supra TK Society “X-Games” Supra has used the Skytop model for various collaborations and tributes including the Palms Hotel x Supra Skytop, the Stubbs x Supra Skytop and the Brooklyn Projects x Supra Skytop. However, straying away from the Skytop (for at least a couple of minutes), we have just spotted two TK Society models that pay tribute to a well-known sports event. These two TK Society colorways were created for this year’s 15th X-Games in Los Angeles. Both pairs possess a predominately black base, yet, one owns a neon green heel panel, strap section and sole, while the remaining pair contains pink in the same areas. The vivid colorways seem ideal for the summer season to say the least. Air Jordan 11 Retro “Space Jam” The comment section was filled to the brim with positive comments when we showed you the Air Jordan 11 Retro “Space Jam” Sample yesterday; and that was just the sample! Now, we have photos of the actual Air Jordan 11 Retro “Space Jam”. Who else cannot wait until Black Friday? At a first glance, this “Space Jam” sneaker ls a carbon copy of the 2000 released retro; however, the only glaring difference between the two is the Jumpman placement direction. The 2000 retro release had both Jumpman logos on each sneakers pointing towards the frontal part of the shoe. This Jordan 2009 “Space Jam” retro release will feature the Jumpman logo on the left shoe pointing towards the rear of the shoe, while the left shoe has the Jumpman also pointing towards the frontal area. In addition, the 2009 version will also possess a blue Jumpman logo on the outsole as opposed to the white Jumpman logo seen on the 2000 retro.
